First step for us was to repair the rust on the rear quarter panels. The rust was not really bad but why leave it when we could make it as nice as possible.
The picture above is the damage from the rust on the passenger side. This was all cut away and replaced.
The two pictures above are the inside of the drivers side where there was alot more damage and we replaced almost the entire panel. While inside the panel the mud and gunk was cleared out of the drain holes to prevent water and build up that would start rusting the car again. While All of this work was being done we had to clear out the garage and make room for the GTO, as well as go through boxes of new and used parts that came with the car.
